Overview:

Omit is an underground electronic music party curation series based out of Austin, Tx and Denver, CO. In the spring of 2021 I was tasked with creating a branding to fit the ethos of the party, and the music it represents. Central to the themes of Omit are inclusivity, an anti-corporate attitude, and omission of everything but the present (IE omit everything at once, lose yourself in the music).

I responded to these themes by creating a logotype that (A) included the use of a prohibitory Ø sign to represent the omission theme, (B) used soft geometric glyphs that felt friendly and inviting, and (C) took a contemporary on visual cues from early 90’s dance music aesthetics.
